How to set up the Camera and Tripod

1. Open the tripod legs so that there is a steady surface for the camera. 
2. Adjust the height of the tripod by opening the tensioners and pulling the legs out until they are at the height that you want the camera to be at. 
3. If you want to adjust the angle of the camera you can use the handle to adjust it. This is how you also pan shots smoothly. 
4. You then loosen the screw underneath the tripod and adjust where the camera will sit. Once you have adjusted it to where you want it, tighten the screw back up and it will stay at that height. 
5. To be able to place your camera on the tripod, you will need a shoe mount. There is a shoe mount on the tripod and also one on the camera, and they connect so that you can use the tripod. Screw them together and make sure that they are secure and position the camera how you want it. 
6. After you think you are ready, turn the camera on and make any adjustments if you need to.
